In this video, we introduce you to the inrevium/Fidus 12G-SDI FMC card. This card has 6 HDBNC connectors on the front panel.

The first two are channel 0 and provide a dedicated 12G-SDI TX and RX capability. Channels one, two and three are bidirectional 12G-SDI capable inputs and outputs. You can program them to be inputs or outputs to suit your needs!

The final HDBNC connector is for an external sync input. On board is a sync separator, a clock generator and a MACOM chip set to support reclocking, equalization, and cable driving for the 12G-SDI implementation.

Our 12G-SDI FMC solution is designed to be compatible with certain Xilinx 7-Series development kits. Please contact Fidus to ensure compatibility with your target carrier development board.
