Video Interface FMCs
MIPI FMC, Adapter OV13850, Adapter AUO
This Meticom-based MIPI FMC is designed to empower both SoC developers as well as system designers and experimenters. The TB-FMCL-MIPI supports a 4-lane RX interface (typically CSI-2) as well as a 4-lane TX interface (typically DSI). There are other variants available that support two (2) 4-lane RX interfaces, two (2) 4-lane TX interfaces, and a “BYPASS” variant that does not have the D-PHY devices. Proprietary interfaces on the front of the card allow Fidus (or you!) to easily design interface cards to mate with your MIPI-based image sensor or display. Note: Fidus provides a few different interface adapters to get you started quickly. The simple LPC pinout, and support for a wide-range of VADJ voltages, helps to ensure that this card will be compatible with a large number of off-the-shelf carrier cards. Reference designs available based on Northwest Logic’s MIPI IP cores.

The TB-FMCH-HDMI4K is a 4k/60fps FMC card targeting Xilinx platforms. The FMC features a single HDMI4K output and a single HDMI4K input. An onboard clock generator enables the user to create the necessary clock to complement their HDMI4K operation. The FMC is designed to be electrically compatible with the inrevium ACDC, Xilinx KC705, VC707, VC709, KCU105, and ZC706. Additional boards may be supported, and some limitations may apply.

The TB-FMCH-12GSDI is a 6G/12G-SDI FMC card targeting Xilinx platforms. The FMC features MACOM’s 12G-SDI chipset. The six HD-BNC connectors support: 1x 12G SDI input, 1x 12G SDI output, 3x 12G In or Out, and 1x Video Sync input. With onboard Sync separator and Clock Generator, the FMC can provide all necessary inputs to the FPGA. The FMC is designed to be electrically compatible with the inrevium ACDC, Xilinx KC705, VC707, VC709, KCU105, and ZC706. Additional boards may be supported, and some limitations may apply.

Analog to Digital Converter and Microphone FMCs
8-Channel, 250MSPS, 14-bit, JESD204B, ADC FMC
The TB-FMCH-8AD250 is an 8-Channel, 14-bit, JESD204B, ADC, conduction cooled FMC. Based on four Analog Devices AD9250 dual ADCs, the TB-FMCH-8AD250 is capable of 40 to 250Msps operation with more than enough analog front-end bandwidth to realize under-sampling systems. Looking past the high-channel per square inch density, the TB-FMCH-8AD250 also supports JESD204B Subclass 1 and near perfect 8-channel sample alignment for post processing.
An onboard Analog Devices AD9528 sampling clock and sysref generator is also featured. With extremely low phase noise, the programmable clock generator can drive the ADCs without affecting performance.
There are a total of 10 MMCX I/O connectors: 8 are used as analog input channels, 1 for Trigger (input or output), 1 for a Clock Reference (input or output). Bi-directional Trigger and Clock Reference signals enable multiple units to be ganged together. SSMC connectors are available on request.
A .bit file is available to demonstrate the capabilities of the TB-FMCH-8AD250 when paired with a Xilinx® VC707.

Single Channel, 5GSPS ADC FMC
The FSF-AD15000A is a single input analog-to-digital converter FMC, designed to be electrically and mechanically compatible with the ANSI/VITA 57.1 specification. Designed with two out-of-phase Analog Devices AD9625 12-bit, 2.5GSPS converters, an equivalent sample rate of 5GSPS is achieved. The JESD204B outputs reduce the number of required I/O to 16 FPGA transceivers (bit rate ~6.25Gbps). The FMC is designed to be electrically compatible with the Xilinx VC707 and VC709.

The FSF-AD8200A is an 8-Channel 14-bit JESD204B ADC conduction cooled FMC. Based on four IDT® ADC1443D200 14-bit dual ADCs, the FSF-AD8200A is capable of 185Msps1 operation with more than enough analog front-end bandwidth to realize under-sampling systems.Looking past the high-channel per square inch density, the FSF-AD8200A also supports JESD204B Subclass 2, Mode 1 operation (deterministic latency), and near perfect 8-channel sample alignment for post processing.
A .bit file is available (by request) to demonstrate the capabilities of the FSF-AD8200A when paired with a VC707. Also available for order are SSMC-to-SMA adapter cables to enable connection to test equipment.
The onboard ADCs support sample rates between 160Msps and 185Msps. BOM changes may be required to achieve optimal performance at speeds other than 180Msps (default).

Seven (7) PDM Microphone FMC
The TB-FMCL-7MIC is targeted at audio directionality and voice/speech recognition applications. The TB-FMCL-7MIC features seven (7) PDM microphones, strategically spaced to enable human voice related development and experimentation. The user can leverage the onboard PDM-to-TDM/I2S converter chips or can directly access the microphone’s PDM outputs. LEDs are placed next to each microphone to enable visual indication related to the incoming sound location. In addition to being able to operate in a traditional FMC daughterboard implementation, this product can also be used in a desktop configuration (e.g. powered externally and cabled to a processor board). The FMC is designed to be electrically compatible with the inrevium ACDC, Xilinx KC705, VC707, VC709, KCU105, and ZC706. Additional boards may be supported, and some limitations may apply.
